Robin Ventura Hits Grand Slams In Doubleheader


May 20, 1999. Robin Ventura of the New York Mets becomes the first player in Major League Baseball history to hit grand slams in both ends of a doubleheader. The feat occurs in a sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Chris Hoiles Hits Walk-Off Grand Slam


May 17, 2016. Baltimore Orioles catcher Chris Hoiles hits a walk-off grand slam home run off Seattle Mariner reliever Norm Charlton. The Orioles entered the ninth inning trailing the Mariners 13-10, when on a 3-2 pitch with two out Hoiles hit the game winner. The first time in Major League Baseball history that a grand slam had been hit with two out on a full count.

Nomar Garciaparra Two Grand Slam Game


May 10, 1999. Boston Red Sox shortstop Nomar Garciaparra hits two grand slams in the same game in a 12-4 rout over the Seattle Mariners. Garciapparra adds a two-run homer for a ten RBI game. He becomes the first American League player since 1975 to accomplish the feat.

Dan Wilson Hits Inside-The-Park-Grand Slam


May 3, 1998. Catcher Dan Wilson of the Seattle Mariners in the first inning against the Detroit Tigers hits an inside-the-park grand slam home run. The Mariners go on to beat the Tigers 10-6. It is the first inside-the-park home run in Mariners history.
