Bobby Lowe Hits Four Home Runs


May 30, 1894. Boston Beaneater second baseman Bobby Lowe becomes the first player in major league baseball history to hit four home runs in a game in the second game of a doubleheader to beat Cincinnati 20-11. Lowe had gone 0 for 6 in the first game of the twin bill.
