Nolan Ryan Hurls 6th No-hitter
June 11, 1990, Nolan Ryan of the Texas Rangers, at 43, becomes the oldest pitcher to throw a no-hitter in major league history. He also became the first pitcher to accomplish the feat for three different, and the first to do it in three different decades. It is the 6th career ho-hitter for the hard throwing righthander. In this game he defeated the Oakland A's 5-0.

Randy Johnson Hurls Perfect Game
May 18, 2004. Arizona Diamondbacks southpaw Rand Johnson tosses a perfect game over the Atlanta Braves 2-0. At 40, he becomes the oldest pitcher to pitch a perfect game. He also joins select company of pitchers that have thrown no-hitters in both leagues (Jim Bunning, Hideo Nomo, Nolan Ryan, and Cy Young).

Nolan Ryan Tosses The First of Seven No-Hitters
May 16, 1973. The California Angels right-hander Nolan Ryan hurls the first of seven career no-hitters. The 3-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals is the first no-hitter at Royals stadium.

Nolan Ryan Completes 7th No-Hitter
May 1, 1991, Nolan Ryan of the Texas Rangers set a major league record by notching his seventh no-hitter of his career against the Toronto Blue Jays. Ryan, who holds the major league record for strike outs at 5,714. His career won-loss record was 324-292 with an ERA of 3.19. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.
